Purify Your Wealth: Pay Your Obligatory Zakat

As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan 2026, we are reminded of our profound duty to support those most in need. Zakat is not merely a charitable contribution; it is a fundamental pillar of our faith and a beautiful means of purifying your wealth. By entrusting your Zakat to the Greenwich Peninsula Islamic Centre (GPIC), you are ensuring your obligatory alms reach the most vulnerable members of our wider community, providing them with essential relief and dignity during this holy month.

Heading Example

A paragraph is a self-contained unit of a discourse in writing dealing with a particular point or idea. Paragraphs are usually an expected part of formal writing, used to organize longer prose.

Transparency and Trust

We treat your Zakat as a sacred trust (Amanah). In strict adherence to Islamic principles, 100% of your Zakat payments are carefully ring-fenced and distributed exclusively to the eligible categories prescribed in the Quran. Please be assured that absolutely no Zakat funds are used for the day-to-day administration, rent, or operational running costs of the centre. (Note: If you wish to support the upkeep of our prayer and community spaces, please find the Taraweeh page for the 'Sadaqah Lillah' option).
