Welcome to the Greenwich Peninsula Islamic Centre
A welcoming space for worship, learning and community on the Greenwich Peninsula. Here we keep our brothers and sisters informed about prayer times, Jumu'ah and what is happening at the centre, and we are building towards a permanent masjid for the peninsula.
Every Friday at the Prayer Space, The Aperture Building, North Greenwich. Arrive early: when the first session is full the doors close and the second follows.
What we do
Prayer
Jumu'ah every Friday in two sessions, daily prayers as announced, and the London prayer timetable for the month.
Learning
Halaqas, Qur'an and Islamic studies for adults and children, and the Friday sermon archive.
Community
Programmes for women and girls, young people, new Muslims and neighbours of every faith.
A permanent home
The Masjid Fund: a ring-fenced capital fund to secure a dedicated sanctuary on the peninsula.
